| Occupational
License
An Occupational License is a restricted license issued by the Wisconsin DMV, available to some people whose regular license has been revoked or suspended. It may be used to drive to and from work, treatment and limited other necessary trips. It is limited as to when and where it can be used.
Many people are not eligible
for an occupational license, or they may have to wait to become
eligible.
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER
1, 2005, AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE MAY NOT BE USED TO DRIVE
A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE.
